game performance with i5 6600k and gtx 1070

Less than 100% GPU utilization is actually quite normal.
My 1070 usually hovers around the 45ish % mark and that is with an ENB plugin to beef up the visuals / AA. FPS is limited to 60 due to VSync.
FF-XIV is not a GPU intense title.

In cities, you are (as in every MMO) limited by your single threaded CPU performance. I regularly dip below 60FPS here.

Like I said, I don't know much about this combination of i5 6600k and GTX 1070. I use R5 1600 with RX560. My card always hit around 100% in any game I play. I understand that FFXIV is not a GPU demanding game (that's why I said to her to see benchmarks and try another games more GPU demanding to test the CPU).

Anyway, is good to know more about hardware stuff, thanks :P
