I recommend that people who do not enjoy msq roulette do something else for XP, as there are many good options as noted above.

It has been a problem for its whole 6 years. They learned, they don't design dungeons like that any more, but they can never justify going back to improve the experience of these ones since it detracts from making new content. Band aid fixes were putting massive exp reward on it to bribe old players back into something they really don't want to do, and preventing cutscene skipping so new players do not get left behind.
*Hopefully* now that we have the Trust system they can justify taking some time to add them to Cast/Prae and let new players do it that way, remove the DF option for those duties, remove the roulette, remove the cutscene lock and we never have to suffer doing these ever again apart from newgame+ runs. Increase reward slightly for all other roulettes to compensate for loss of MS roulette so people aren't upset, and now we only need to play fun things.
It's fairly good experience, although that is up for debate, but it means that some people feel forced into doing it, others try to attend but spend as little time as possible actually engaging with the content, and others just flat out refuse to do it. Universally, we agree that they are not fun and feel like a necessary evil that we must do to progress our classes. These are literally separate things. The first point is about people who don't need to run it but are complaining they "feel" they need to for the experience, but they don't find it fun.
The second is about people who do still need to run it so Trust should be put in so they can do it.
Is this another "do this so we can skip cutscenes again!" thread? Ugh.
Its optional. No one has to run it once they pass it. I run it for EXP and just watch cartoons or youtube or cook while its going.
Anyway, SE is looking into making it a 4-man Trust dungeon anyway, I believe. So we'll see how that goes.
A-about the MSQ Roulette? I'm so confused. What about it would even cause tension? If people are mad people don't want to run it. Well... they are a problem. The people complaining not the people avoiding it.

I would argue that the fact this is "Another" post about the MSQ roulette being painful proves that this is indeed a real concern for many people, and DOES infact require some attention.
As you yourself said (as well as many others in this post and others) they queue for this to literally log out and watch TV, that's not PLAYING the game. That's letting the game essentially bot itself as u trickle through it barely paying it any mind. That's bad content design. Just giving us a HUGE reward because they know the content is painful is not really a fix, is it?
I'm not one to just complain and tear peoples posts apart without also suggesting what I would like to see happen so, in my personal opinion, I would just like to either see the dev's shorten the cutscenes, turn some of them into conversations that happen while you are walking from <fight A> to <fight B>, or just simply allow for the scenes to be skipped if everyone already has completed the dungeon. I'm sure some people will argue this would lead to people just kicking the person who is new, or leaving after 15 minutes; but I'm really not sure what other "cheap" dev fixes you could come up with to make the content engaging! It's a boring slog, the dungeons are plain outdated and outmoded at this point. AT the very least they could break Preatorium in half.
{throw in the MSQ trials Garuda Normal/Titan Normal/Ifrit Normal into the mix (I just hate getting those ones when I'm doing leveling roulette feels a waste of the roulette xD)}
subtle art, a deft hand; be like the breeze, go where you are taken

Aren't they required ONCE when you to the MSQ? After that, you never have to see them again?
I don't get why people queue up, then complain. I utilize the time to switch over laundry, grab dinner, or whatever around the house. Sometimes take the dog out. Especially with The Praetorium (sp?), you have plenty of downtime with cutscenes to work on other things. Read a book?
I mean, or you can simply not queue them. When I started, I was rushed through it. Didn't get to enjoy the story until after the change. Now I run it because a. easy rewards / b. help others complete it / c. plenty of downtime to work on other things.
The tension with MSQ Roulette is solely of their own making, and are people simply looking to create tension.

What is point of forcing ones to watch the cutscenes if other just log out and back in to skip them and go on when others is stuck in them. I have bunch screen shots being in cutscenes after ones that skipped them and beat that last boss when your still in cutscene.

Login on and off is a bannable offense for once.

As for your question, there's a bunch of other threads with several post were people painstakingly explain what is the point of unskippable cutscenes. I'm going to recommend you to read them.
At this point, I'm pretty sure people complaining are just willfully ignoring what people say because they feel they deserve to get a obnoxious amount of rewards without deserving it..

I have already reported ones and never seen anything happen to them. I still see same ones that's done it in same roulette.Login on and off is a bannable offense for once.
