I'm pretty sure I made a post regarding this several years ago, but my friends and I haven't stopped wanting it, and Shadowbringers has only made the desire stronger, so here I am again.

The areas I mean are the instanced areas we can access as we please, but may only do so alone, such as the Waking Sands, Rising Stones, Hien's mansion (can't recall the name atm @_@) the Ocular, and even inn rooms.

I do well remember the days at 2.0 launch, with a crowd of people constantly on top of Minfilia in the Solar and I remember when it was changed, and I understand the change was made because it doesn't quite make sense, story-wise, for there to be that many people in these areas. But for those us who roleplay (or just want to take cool screenshots with our friends), we're missing out on some prime locations.

My friend and I are an example: her character is THE Warrior of Light, and mine is her companion, who would be expected to enter most of these places with her. But because these areas are designed so everyone gets their own version of it, we can't just hang out at the Rising Stones bar or hang out in other story-important areas creating our own variation of conversations to include both our characters.

Because I mentioned the Ocular specifically, I'll point out that the story totally left room for more people than just the Warrior of Light to have come over to the First, so no one tell me that one doesn't make sense.

As for inn rooms--I know those are quite a bit different (and have always been for one person only) but the room at the Pendants in the Crystarium just looks TOO GOOD for hanging out in and it seems a waste to not have a function which allows us to invite party members (or a certain number of friends or something) inside the room.
