Eden4 mannequin - Dancer

Hello everyone,

I tried a dozen times to beat the mannequin eden4 with my dancer (the other mannequins went without worries).

I usually lose at 4/5% despite the food and the prepot (~9kdps).

My best run I went up to 9k4 with lots of crit and proc and the mannequin was 1% ...

Are there dancers who have passed the mannequin eden4? If so, what is the minimum dps? Do you have any tip regarding the dps cycle?

Striking dummies, I'm willing to bet, will be a poor judge of Dancer DPS (unless the dummies are adjusting based on job not just role)

A not unsubstantial part of your DPS will come from the buffs you give to your dance partner and the rest of the team, and your personal damage will be lower as a result. So if the dummy is not accounting for this, then it may be harder to actually kill it off. Also the dummies in general feel like they just have inflated HP pools (at least they did last expansion) since I would experience where I was highest DPS on the team and we would easily clear the floors, but I couldn't kill the striking dummy.

My two cents, if you're failing at 4% you're probably fine. But someone who has actually experienced more with the dummies + raids this time around might know more than I do.

Every job's dummy has a different HP pool. I have no informations on Dancer tho...

Thanks for that info, I knew it adjusted by role, I wasn't aware it adjusted job to job.

For the dance partner stuff you can use your chocobo as your dance partner. If you want it to contribute to dps, leave it on attack stance otherwise you can set it for heals only.

ilv 449 (only belt is not ilv450)
No food or potions

My variance has been 13%(horrendous luck 4 fan procs in 3 mins) to kill(Amazing luck fan procs and 3 sabre dances)

variance = difference between highest value and lowest value, for this dummy i had very good rng where i killed it and very very bad rng where it had 13% hp left, so the difference(variance) between my lowest and highest is 13%.

I think you are overthinking what the striking dummies are for. They aren't there strictly to be beaten, but to gauge how well your DPS is compared to the encounter. If you can't beat it with only 1% remaining, it shows you that you've got what is needed to beat the encounter, there is just some fine tuning that is needed. That tuning might not be DPS related either. Regardless, I'm sure you'll be fine 99/100 is still great.
