    SE/FF storylines

I don't know why but FF games have this history with me of making me get sad or cry. 7 did it. 10 did it. 10-2 did it but in a good way. This one did it with the events in Waking Sands. I just completed the AAR vanilla storyline and it had me choking up too. Kudos to SE for making such memorable & compelling stories.

Keep at it, the real emotional rollercoaster is still to come at the final ARR storyline (Before the Fall), it's still my favourite part of the game to this day.

To say nothing of Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers' storylines being a kick right in the feels.

As well as continuing the main story at this point, there are some side stories (originally endgame content for ARR) worth doing as you go along. The hard mode primals will be required for future MSQ progress, and the Crystal Tower (starting with the quest "Legacy of Allag") is the next chronological appearance for Cid and the Ironworks team, so best done now to keep things in order. The Binding Coil is essentially an epilogue to the Calamity, but might need to wait for later unless you have some high-leveled friends willing to scrape you through it.

Also if you're leveling dragoon but haven't finished the job questline, it's worth getting that done now because a character comes from that story into Heavensward's MSQ.

*Do* the crystal tower, it will be relevant when you get to shadowbringers.

I just completed it last night and loved it. I've been slowly trying to do blue+ quests for ARR before going further in the ARR prepatch storyline.

FF14 is my favorite FF mostly cause it stars us as the protagonist and who wouldn't want to be the main character of their own FF .....but also because the story is just so good.

You have that feeling after ARR? Oh then you just wait for what will come next. It just gets better and better. Final Fantasy at its best

I am impatiently waiting for the New game+ just for the story since I dont want to create new character.

In darkness, in cold, in the midst of winter where nothing walks the world but death and fear let the brave rejoice: I call the light.
Out of darkness, light. Ouf of silence, song. Ouf of the sun´s death, the birth of each year. Out of cold, fire. Out of death, life. Out of fear, courage to see the day. (Elizabeth Moon - The Deed of Paksenarrion)
