Anyone else notice there has been a problem with the DF lately?

When you try to get into a specific in-prog run that is missing the role you're queueing on but you still don't get in to their group, from what I have heard that is a result of someone somewhere else getting the in-prog queue for that party but having yet to accept/deny it. Therefore, you might get shuffled to a new forming group in the meantime.

Yeah, I know that someone has to accept it, you can tell when a party is filling by looking on the duty bar, it will say filling members or something like that. In all the cases my friends instances said it was filling but they never got anyone!

I've been in several, if not most of my runs being in progress runs. Are you making sure that in Duty Finder options, that joining in Progress in enabled? Keeping in mind it only works while solo queueing. It can be set with the gear icon at top left of Duty Finder, in case this wasn't known.

Yep! I made sure I had inprogress selected and I tried playing around with the settings. I even went to look at my BFs screen to make sure his instance was accepting more people and it was. The whole run they never got any more people, so the other two alliances were full and his was left with only five.

Languages may also impact this. If at least one person in the party has a language checked that the person trying to fill the in-progress spot does not, then the game will ignore the in-progress. (For example, one player has English and French checked, one has all languages checked, and one has only French checked. An English only queue-er is not going to get into that party.)

The solution is if you are frequently an in-progress rescuer on a role like tank or healer, then make sure all languages in your Duty Finder settings are checked prior to queuing.

I actually thought that might be the problem at first, but I tried with only english selected and I tried with all languages selected because I usually keep all languages selected but it wasn't working so I filtered through them. Nothing worked!

Was having this exact issue when someone in our LS needed a fill-in for a run. Tried to join and wouldn't let me. Especially for those 24 man. So yeah, you're not the only one /sigh

;; I'm glad I'm not the only one imagining this. I've never had trouble helping with in-progress stuff over the years, it's only recently, and its been specifically with 24 mans that I've had the trouble. I've not tried any dungeons, but I have been getting inprogress dungeons since ShB launch, I have not gotten any inprogress alliance raids though.
