instead of debufs give sch the lots of dps we used to have and let us be green dps againI've been saying they should do the third point. Give all healers their own unique thing. In fact that's how it was hinted st the beggining.
WHM contributes with healing over time and Damage. Let them have spells that are easily woven together with Healing GCDs and Damage ogcds. (or viceversa) Let them link damage and healing in a crescendo till they unlock their satisfying blast burst spell.
AST contributes with buffs. Let them make meaningful decisions with their buffs, extend them, empower them or spread them accordingly to maximize their impact on a party. And give buffs flashy spell effects do that players recieving them see they are being empowered.
SCH should contribute with debuffs. Use Aetherflow stacks to weaken specific targets or expose their weaknesses while the fairy healing and shield grants them time to prepare said debuffs and stratagems.
Scholars thing was dots with debuffs, I'd love to see that expanded up. Like putting up a set of dots in a certain order to further weaken mobs.

I did not quit healing, even though pre-ShB I was an AST main. I've switched to WHM instead. I'm not going to bother leveling AST to 80 at this point, either. I'd rather not contribute to the dev's stats on AST players at all at this point.
I was 100% healer Now im 80% Tank / 20% healer ( mostly to farm raid 24 roulette for instant Q and when my friend already take tank role )
Before Dancer reveal, i was expecting this expansion to be the tank/healer expansion so the dissapointment was huge and when you see SE destroying your healer too you just can't continue to play it.
Tank is great to play, it's easier, stress free.
Almost. I have mained healers since ARR. It's even less engaging now. Damage is and always was 100% scripted, so we already had no real stress or issues healing. They didn't increase the damage output and made the jobs simpler so we have even less to do now.
I wish they would give us something to HEAL. Even in the hardest content you don't heal if people screw up because every mechanic is most likely a insta death. So I am more a DPS that rezzes and occasionally heals.

More or less, yes. I'll still level them just for completion sake (and in-need bonuses), but if nothing changes then I really can't see myself playing them at level cap because without anything interesting to do when healing isn't required* they are just boring (especially compared to a well-designed class like BLM).
* And even when healing is required, they feel kind of boring as you are mostly just rotating between whatever cooldowns are up or spamming a GCD heal with few interactions, interesting choices, or rewards for good play.

Now in Shadowbringers, there are more than ever before.
I play in Chaos DC (EU) and queue for Healer doesn't pop instant (for Expert, or Eden Normal).

I still play healer for my static, and that's fine seeing how savage content do bring some stuff to do in the role. For everyday roulettes and other battle content, I'm running tank or sometimes DPS. There's either not a healing requirement at all, or you're stuck doing the abysmal damage "rotation" on healer against some poor HP-sponge in the overworld.
Nope. I've mained AST pretty much since HW, and still intend to. And Shadowbringers hasn't reduced my love for healing one bit.
I have. It's clear now that the devs don't care about us, else they would have at least said something more encouraging than "permanent changes, deal with it".
Healers are boring to me, still way too much healing downtime (despite what the naysayers told us before release) and nothing to do during said time except spamming one button.
Our damage spells are identical, and our healing kits are still so powerful we could heal any fight with pre-50 spells. Everything past that is merely here for comfort, and it only makes the role even more boring.
Unless they make major healer changes, I'm not touching this role ever again.
