To anyone who didn't see the live letter or who wasn't paying attention, the hairstyles, hempen sets, and butt slider stuff got addressed by Yoshida.

Hairstyles: They plan on making SOME hairstyles race unlocked, and SOME of them remaining unique to that respective race.

Hempen sets: In order to make this happen, they would need to make the clothing ID and skin ID to not be so different and rather, indifferent, so it can happen.

Butt slider: He will talk to the graphics team about this and see what can be done, but says it in a very joking manner. (so, it may actually happen)

Customization (more face options): Character data is sent constantly back and forth between the game and the servers (JSON), which deals with packets. If they added more customization, it would increase packet size, causing stress on characters and the game.

This is not an answer to the actual question. They are talking about changing the 'underwear' appearance on a naked character, the actual question was about the hempen gear set which has a different appearance depending on which race equips it, and giving those different appearances to all races, which was not answered.

I had been disappointed by the no new race, no new tank and healer.... now this. To be fair, glamour is really kinda' an end game for a good majority of the players of this game. They really care about their character and how it looks because, with the way this game is, character looks and glamour are unfortunately some of the only lasting content that people don't get bored with. New areas are expected with an expansion, reworked actions I won't defend 'cause they shot themselves in the foot with how much bloat there is and it's basically going to be a copy/paste of the 2.0/3.0 patch cycle. People were hoping for something a bit more concrete than content they will blow through and get bored with after grinding it for 239187259812 hours. I can see both sides of the argument.

I dont know why you act so negativ about esthetics and looks in GAME so much. Of course I do not mind having more zones, nice looking dungeons and all. But why can we not have both of those? I mean, we pay a subscription every month. We buy from the cash shop our fantasias and mounts. We even pay lots of money for expansions and their Collectors Edition.

And just 1 thing to add to new areas and such. In the end you tend to never visit a map after doing the quests there. You dont even do Dungeons if you do not have to gain anything from them. But your character, you look at it 90% of the time. In cutscenes, in fight, while you do just screenshots or nothing. It is also annoying to see all the time a Doppelganger running around who looks just like you. Cause you have only 4 preset faces. Neat, right?

New areas are nice... for the first 4 times you are there. Reworked actions? They haven't said anything nor will they until May. And the content updates? It's a repeat of what they've done over the last 4 years.
