Already covered that in the post you quoted, please read posts fully before replying. (self quote)"Weapons are really the only argument to be made, since all jobs need a different weapon. But at the same time, you don't need more than 1 weapon per job in your armory (all others can go in inventory or glamour or gotten rid of), so no need for more than the 35 we have.

I have retainers entirely dedicated to storing different gear sets that I can't put in the wardrobe, but want to keep for varying purposes (like glamor or leveling).
I currently have four retainers, three of which are entirely full (two are exclusively for gear) and the fourth of which is rapidly approaching that state. I would love more Armory space.
I would be really glad to see more slots added to the armory tabs. Especially rings - since you're dealing with essentially twice the number compared to the others.
With the addition of classes/jobs over the years, it feels like it's time for the devs to give us a little armory love.
I also use retainers for armory spillover, and am pretty maxed out on space - currently have 7 retainers hired. My jobs are not at cap - they are spread out over a pretty large range. I think that is when people get into storage troubles.
I am presently working to bring all of my jobs to cap, or at least within 10 levels of it, but I still think I will be wishing for more slots. And not all players are going to have everything at cap, sharing some of the same gear, etc.
(And I am thinking of battle classes - with crafting/gathering classes sharing the same armory, it gets full quickly! I am working on leveling those as well, so storage is definitely a challenge.)

agreed armory chest needs an upgrade badly

This here is why a few more armory slots would go a long way. It just sucks having to either mass level similar jobs together or clear out space super frequently. As inventory will always be at a premium, and it just sucks when have pause at odd times to sort through and toss stuff thanks to limited space that is getting fuller by the day thanks to expanding job lists and such.We currently have 29 jobs (counting combat, crafting, and gathering all together), each needing a main hand item, in a 35-slot bag. Even if you only carry one item per job, that's pretty tight. If you're carrying extra, whether for glamour, spares for later levels in jobs you're still working on, or whatever other reason, it's not enough.
Rings are almost as bad. We have seven different roles (tank, healer, strength DPS, dexterity DPS, caster, crafter, gather), each needing two rings. Plus blue mage, being locked at 50, takes another pair. And, again, if they're at different levels, that takes up more slots, since they're not sharing if they're not close.
Left-side slots are tight right now, with people just hitting 80 on multiple jobs and still carrying relic gear, which also isn't shared between jobs, but that'll even out as gear progresses.

I guess that's why they deleted NIN for us?

Agree with the topic. I would like some upgrades for an armoury chest too. We already have some gifts frome SE, tho. Chocobo sadlebag, increased glomour chest. But one more gift to expand an armoury about 10-15 squares would be more than apreciated.

I totally agree on this topic. Especially the rings...
I mean, when you have all classes around the same level using the same gear for their roles, it might not be such a problem, but having different classes on different levels and they all need good gear to run dungeons etc. there isn't enough space.
Too bad Glamour plates are shit they dont even work anywhere useful
