    Yeah the 1-2-3 from the job trailer sounds the same (bad). But at this point I'm just "whatever" about it.. Because I'm in a position where I don't have to care anymore -- because of reasons.

    The abilities that will be new in 6.0 that we saw in the job action trailer sound pretty great, though.

    Listening to the audio from the job action trailer, it does sound like there's at least been a little work done on the horrendous sound quality. Main combo, while still wooshy, seems to have been given back a teeny bit of its metallic clang; but sadly no trigger pulling from combo action 3 as far as I could tell. The rest at least sound okay. I guess I'll have to wait to see how it feels and sounds in-game when EW comes out. Reaper sounds pretty great too, so I'm expecting a downgrade for that one after launch.

    I avoided GNB for the entire expansion until recently due to the sound when I was leveling the job. I like the gameplay but I feel like I am hitting with cardboard it's bloody awful. My weapon does not sound sharp at all. I feel like I am using a blunt weapon not a gunblade. Holding out hope they fix it but they have had 2 years.. not looking good.

    well, keep it up. spread word amongst people and keep voicing your dissatisfaction with how they've handled it. Know I've been kvetching about it endlessly to my own social circles.

    No complaints other then the sound effects and lack of Lionheart attack.

    Edit: I think Gunbreaker is going to have a long ass DPS combo since effectively at lvl 88 Bloodfest gives 3 Cartridges so I'm potentially seeing Renzokuken > Solid Barrel > Burst Strike + Hyper Velocity x3 > Bloodfest > Burst Strike + Hypervelocity x3

    I'm very excited about that.

    Can't wait for the experts to figure out the best way to maximize DPS under the No Mercy window.

    I still severely miss the original gunbreaker combo sounds that made it feel like a gunblade and not a club. Chances are there isn't a lot of activity because people are fixing the issues themselves using third party stuff me thinks? I would at the very least like a toggle for the sounds. As it stands the sound effects do not match almost all their weapons. They could also do me a favor and get rid of that screenflash effect each time you hit with your basic combo. It is extremely annoying.

    Compared it to the current in-game sounds and I think it's the exact same. Probably this issue is too niche for them to notice and if they haven't addressed it yet I sadly don't think they will. It's a bummer because our 1,2,3 combo sure sounds bad to me.

    Yeah, you're right, actually. I went and compared the sound quality of the current sounds vs the ones from the trailer and they're the same. Hopefully we have... the means.. to uh.. make it sound less shitty at launch. I could care less about anything else but the main combo.
