I would not get your hopes up, 100% sure they will do 0 until next expansion. No Gnb new sounds, no monk rework and no substantial changes of any job. It's the perfect time to play other games, specially for those who already finished the current raid tier.
Regardless, I know it seems hopeless and we'll often forget or not feel like trying, but even so submit a suggestion every now and again. Even if it's as lazy as "fix GNB SFX" or "why do GNB SFX sound like a blunt object instead of a sword?" or anything within the parameter of showing SE we actually do notice an issue.... I'll even admit I've sent in just plain "FIX GNB SOUNDS" by itself sometimes.... other times I submit what seems like a documentary script about it. Don't give up.
I expected nothing, because they already showed us that they don't care about us or our feedback. Only about money. Money, money, money. Money. Before people come here to say that making games is about money - some developers also can put some heart, passion, and effort into their work, but times when Square Enix did that are already gone.
What we can do is keep that topic alive and send in game suggestions. Eventually use twitter, but it seems no one beside me is interested in it. But i'm not going to give up so quickly. Not until i find better MMO (considering drought on MMO market FFXIV is just the least bad, not the best game).
I just don't see them responding to twitter considering they don't even respond to this thread tbh... Kudos for trying though.I expected nothing, because they already showed us that they don't care about us or our feedback. Only about money. Money, money, money. Money. welcome to late stage capitalism my dude.I expected nothing, because they already showed us that they don't care about us or our feedback. Only about money. Money, money, money. Money. Oh no I missed anniversary of this thread starting and remaining on the front page of the tank forum for an entire year. Freaking sad stuff dude. I'm not feeling confident that they'll ever fix this issue![]()
Imagine changing a sound effect 3 weeks into a new expansion because of a couple 2 day old threads... Now imagine ignoring a thread with at least x2 the demand for change going ignored for a full year.... That is pretty sad.
Gonna stop you right there my dude and take your tantrum throwing self over to any Live Letter where Yoshi P is actively monitoring the chat, or the Eureka thread where feedback was SO negative, he responded on in said thread.
Also, the biggest "they" here is Soken, for lead sound design. Know who the manager is before acting like a Karen.
