Options? Yeah, no. There's only one option, and that's to keep going. Considering how it's been shown in the past how they change things, folks gave up; didn't continue to petition and lost. It must say something that we managed to get them to at least talk about the dissatisfaction among the community, even if it was just to dismiss it. They'll just try and pull a DRK aura situation on us and expect us to just take it. I purchased a product. That product was advertised and shipped/released as such. Then immediately changed because a handful of people cried that it sounded like shit.

Let's say you're at a hotdog stand. You buy a delicious hotdog. You take a bite out of it, and it's great. Then the hotdog salesman takes the meat out and puts a pickle in the bun. "Try to get used to the taste." Hell no. I'd throw the pickle back at them and demand that I get the hotdog back.

People need to stop being passive about things. Game developers have an obligation to cater to their fans. If a company consistently ignores feedback and brushes it off, that company loses fans and money. Players are the ones who pay a subscription and are the direct flow of cash. If folks stopped with the whole "well the new sounds suck but what can you do about it...?" and then just go quiet without a fight.

Stick up for yourself and your beliefs.
