While I sympathize with the idea that certain sounds, including the original GNB sounds, may be triggers for migraines in certain people, I highly doubt that this was the cause of the sound effect change. Based on the logic being presented, any sound effect played with enough frequency could be a potential trigger for migraines in someone. Therefore, from a development point of view, you do your best to minimize the risks but you also have the understanding that SOMEONE may be impacted by any choice you make, therefore making it impossible to please everyone. I could just as easily make the claim that this new sound gives me migraines. Should they change it again to accommodate me? This is a very slippery slope and I very much doubt it was the cause of the change.

That being said, I want to be clear that I do not think the poster who mentioned migraines is lying. I'm just pointing out the potential flaw in the idea that this condition may have led to the SFX change initially.
