This just makes me wonder why they've left the iaijutsu sound effects alone, since I've seen more than a few complaints that they cause headaches with their high-pitched squeal.

This is more-so my point about this migraine idea. It makes me doubt that's the case because we have plenty of sounds, either from jobs, bosses, dungeons, or anything really that have just as bad of effects to them and they weren't changed.
