Just a bump, not letting this ever go down, I still can't stand my sounds, there was a run in Innocence I had where everything I did was literally unheard because of the sounds around being so similar, I don't like the thought of getting stockhome syndrome with these sounds, because they're quite unpleasant. I gave up GNB, it's simply not fun. I enjoy DRK now, it's not as perfect, but GNB is not the job we once knew.
Honestly i'm seeing less and less GNBs since 5.01. I wouldn't be surprised if people stop playing because of awful sound design.
