The benchmark featured some new sounds if people listen closely. Rough Divide was the most obvious. There was a lot of oomph behind that, among other things. Hopefully it wasn't all just for show.

Man i am new to the GNB class, and so far ive liked it a lot...

BUT...

I was searching for class forums, just to specifically talk about this...

Why do the sounds suck so much ???.... In comparison to warrior sounds.. this sounds are just garbage....

Specially No Mercy/ Bow Shock (anything with electricity)

And the hits... only Burst Strike sounds good, and the blade attacks sound so weak ....

Only the shields sound good, like a Cristal

In the benchmark, it seems the new burst attack has a pretty nice sound and I think Rough Divide sounds crisper.

Doing the GNB job quest on new game + today, the old sounds are still in the cutscene
