"probably" being a big word there. I'd argue more people would've enjoyed the blade sounding like a blade and not as many would be in an uproar about this.

Would you find 5 really dedicated people to support keeping them sounding like cardboard? We had maybe 2 in this thread and they've already stopped trying for the most part. If it was kept alive by just randoms and nothing else, it would've already died. Not to boast particulars too but.... I don't think someone exists here that would go to the effort of making a poll or a twitter in an effort to support keeping something that was crap to begin with.

Keep in mind, what's the EU/JP side's reaction? Last I checked, which was months ago, there was a sizeable enough portion of the players saying "revert the changes please / solid barrel combo needs reverted but keep the rest."

He's talking about the changes to voices that were implemented in patch 5.1, not the GNB sound change of patch 5.01. He even specifically mentions "voice" in the quote you posted.

I've been quiet for a while, but only because there wasn't any news to go off of. Just want to again add my voice to the group that wants the original sounds back. Assuming the translation is accurate, it seems strange to me that they would ask us to just keep using it and see if we get used to it, instead of changing it back. That is completely opposite of what they did at first. Changed before ANYONE could get used to it.

Sometimes I DO feel like the new sounds aren't that bad....but then I listen to a video of what they used to be and realize that I'm clearly going nuts lol.

Let's face it they dont care at all, we can send tons and tons of feedback that not only they will ignore us they will also use excuses as well. And even so we are banned for using mods... makes no sense at all because we are being forced into using stuff we don't like.
