Suggestion - Gender equality "Battle Stance", "Victory Pose" and weapon idle emotes

EDIT: Hey people, Just want to quickly say that I did not intend this thread to be considered as a "woke" battle within FFXIV. This is a suggestion for emotes that you can read below. I did not intend to inject politics within the game, and was just a bad choice of words on my part - I chose the words without realising the general feeling that is felt behind the term "gender equality." Hope that's ok and you can continue if this is you're first time to this thread.

Hi Everyone,

What I am really itching to see brought to FFXIV is the "Battle Stance" and "Victory Pose" emotes rolled out to both genders. I want the option to use both the male and female versions on 1 character that is male or female. "Battle Stance M" & "Battle Stance F" emotes could work nicely

Also while this is asked for, I would like to have the option to have Male or female idle stances with the weapon out, for this I wouldn't mind having to set this via the character menu.

We already know the emotes are pretty universal, as each race will use the same gendered emotes without a problem regardless of the size etc, so it should be easy to bring in for both genders, so that anyone can use any gendered weapon pose they want

I feel that in 2019 it would be a welcome addition to all players.

Considering that there is nothing "male" or "female" specific about these poses, I don't see any argument against it.
More options towards how our characters compose themselves are always welcome.

Just do me a favor: leave the "gender equality" at the door. It is not needed in videogames.

I have to agree, keep the gender equality out of this. However I do agree that both poses should be freely used as its not as if one is more feminine or masculine than the other.

I would agree that gender equality campaigning is not for video games, was just looking for the correct tag for it as the emotes are gender locked. Thanks for pointing it out

Currently when idle, female chars hold their weapons differently than male chars. Some like the animation of the other sex better so they want to make all animations of a certain race available to both genders, presumably switchable via /cpose.

I don't really care about the whole "it's 2019 gender equality" spiel. I just want all the poses because I just want them. Pure and simple.
