You do realize that’s only a 150-200 dps buff right? And that ninjas are behind rdm’s and bards by about 500-600 dps on average...So do I get this right, NIN is unhappy that while they got a 50 potency buff on their spammable main combo, its not enough?
I think the main problem here is that SE is too afraid of whiny players to actually NERF something. BLM and DRG needed nerfs.
The problem with Trick Attack is also that whenever you buff other classes that could potentially be in the group with ninjas, you buff TA.
Says the class that gets raid Utility.
If you look at actual rdps parses, ninja is actually higher than ranged in some fight, and they were taken in a lot of speekdill comp (half of them?) So they arent that weak, despite their pdps looking weak.
You know. It would immediately help what you are trying to say if you know, post it?
Why is it when players are complaining about reasonable issues to complain about someone always has to come along and cry and scream "suck it up buttercup?"Why is it when players don't get every single concession they want straight away they cry and scream that the company hates the players? Suck it up, deal with it like an adult and move on with your life instead of having a three year olds reaction to being told not right now.
Look, Ninja has been hurting since Early Access release. We're now a month into the official release of the expansion and with 5.05 we were expecting to see buffs that would have put us on the playing field once again, despite the loss of much of our toolkit. Shadewalker, Smokescreen, Dripping Blades, Goad, Slashing Debuffs, all this stuff. There was a lot of utility behind Ninja before and while Ninja didn't have the greatest DPS in the past, it thrived because it was useful. Now its usefulness is shot and we still don't have the damage to compete with every other job. You are legitimately better off taking nearly anything else than a Ninja right now because the job has been mishandled so much with Shadowbringers.
That's one thing, but then you have to keep in mind update schedules. The next time we're projected to see any changes will be with 5.1, which is 3-4 months away depending on how long SE's development team needs to recover after the release of an expansion. Lots of people were counting on this update to make lasting change for the job because the alternative is to wait several months, which is an eternity in a living game like an MMO.
You can say "suck it up, deal with it like an adult and move on," but that really just shows lack of consideration and empathy on your part.
While i agree with your point, the title of this thread is "Square Enix Team Hates NIN Players" which is just a tad over dramatic. Why is it when players are complaining about reasonable issues to complain about someone always has to come along and cry and scream "suck it up buttercup?"

Thank you for this. Yeah the OP might have been a tad dramatic, but we really are in the absolutely worst place now. People consistently underestimate DNCs potential. proper use in a high end team of the crit/DH buff on top of 5% raid and a 10% personal to a specific person timed for burst is nuts. The 5% permanent alone is already equivalent to the entirety of TA.Why is it when players are complaining about reasonable issues to complain about someone always has to come along and cry and scream "suck it up buttercup?"

Just gonna drop this here, cause I can't believe how many other people comment about DNC or BRD without being really aware of the problem

FFLogs are broken, but i did a post on DPS Differences.
Im pretty sure Bards about 400-500 DPS behind MCH, with 400 RDPS through its buffs, so no, lol MCH and bard are actually equal RDPS Standpoint almost :P this is Pure hyperbole
I hope they don't leave you in the gutter for an entire expansion, give you a bunch of poorly thought out changes in the next expansion, and then don't change those for another month.
Because that's been been my experience starting this game with Monk in Heavensward.
so on leviathan normal Rdps:

Before the patch, of course.
