OK, not super easy but this way it would save a lot of time for sure.

It could be done by creating a new texture for the Roegadyn meshes, they could have a look of a bulky tiger creature for example.
Ears and a tail could be added.
It would save a LOT of work as all the Roegadyn gear could be reused, some textures would have to be changed a little bit to make the tails fit.
miqo'te headgear can be rescaled to fit the head shape, not too hard because none of the helmets have any sort of animation or physics.

a similar approach could be used for the Roegadyn females...
simply take the Highlander male body...

True, sounds simple enough, but I sleep well knowing the only way my avatars species can procreate is by having sweaty lesbian cat sex, Miqo'te aren't ppl so who says a race of hot cat chicks can't procreate? Adding males would be a lot of work for the development team and they got their hands full with actual issues on this thing. The only change the Miqo'te need if SE has any spare time in the future of the game is less underwear on them, I have to put on a harness to see my belly!

I bet SE is kicking themselves for letting that little bit of art get out and for letting Tanaka say anything about male miqo'te renders being completed.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure the male Miqo'te would adopt a more feminine look, whereas if anything, the female roegadyns would probably look akin to she-hulk or something.

Would create an interesting back story, if follow anything from FF11, they act much in form like Lions, Females are the hunters. males take care or the house (so to speak) also tactical, probably smaller in build if follow the FF11 format.

few other features can help separate the two. lack of war paint or maybe a different style of paint.
Will be nice if SE was to implement this, allowing people a one time only chance to switch from female to male.

Just my thoughts on the topic. also would not disagree if SE did not implement this. already attached to my cat as is. with a nice back story of my own for role playing.
