Great community btw
That picture is not even accurate - if u troll do it at least right : /
This is certainly a good thing to see. However SE has a tendency to go too far with buffs. We'll see what happens, but SE specifically said they wanted this patch to a strengthen the identity of each healer. I do hope they remember that and don't kill the Pdps advantage of WHM too hard.
Unfortunately they murdered the identity of AST with the card changes. While SCH got its identity shaken up from being the DPS healer focused on DoTs.This is certainly a good thing to see. This topic didn't age well already lol.
AST's identity was never about cards, AST's main selling point was that it could access SCH and WHM's different styles of healing via sects. Sects are the problem with AST, not cards. Please, for the love of god, realize this.
Except, it was. Astrologian's identity is based on reading constellations and tarot cards to assist their allies. You could take the different styles of healing away from the job, much like in Stormblood PvP, and it'd still be Astrologian. If you took away the cards, that's no longer an Astrologian. The flavor and uniqueness of the job come completely from the cards, not whether you can replace another healer by being a slightly worse version of them.
If u think this is accurate u are even more inexperienced than I thought before... sry.
Aside of holy, assis, dia & bloodlilly - u also left the wings which midigate dmg as well on a kinda short cd -> utility.
On the otherside the Ast part is bumbed with card-draw icons which just „draw“ cards but have no benefit aside if it.
So yeah if people troll they should do their homework first next time.
