    So, what are the odds Monk gets nerfed before 5.1?

    Historically speaking, do they do much balance changing between x.05 and x.1 patches? I'm going to main MKN/SAM or SAM/MNK this expansion and I really don't want to materia twice. If there's a good chance SAM will catch up (rDPS, not just pDPS) or at least get close, I want to focus on SAM. I think it's more fun. But if MNK is going to reign supreme for the next few months I'll focus there; I can still play SAM 90% of the time, just go MNK for progression content where every bit matters (and to practice of course). Thanks!

    They occasionally do some number tweaks for PVE in the PVP patches (they did so in 4.06 after Deltascape Savage dropped) but beyond that any nerfs to the jobs that are currently top dog or buffs to any jobs that are trailing likely won’t occur till 5.1.
