Thread: Going towards 6.0, did the situation for healers even change at all?

Only thing I'm hoping for in 6.0 is that they dont screw up the launch, SE only has 1 chance to make a good first impression and they seriously need to learn why people enjoy the healers, because theres a serious disconnect here. WHM has had problems for years, but instead of addressing those, they try to fix it by bringing SCH/AST down. Maybe that'll be a good thing, because now every healer is much more aware of the problems the others have, so who knows, maybe that can finally lead into the healing community having a big enough voice where SE will understand what we want.

5.05 was an improvement of 5.0 for sure, but SE still has work to do before the healers are balanced. Even if they are "balanced", then they're just equally crap and not equally good.

Because how it feels right now, one could still say they need to balance healers and because of that we wont get a new one in 6.0.

Not to mention that with all the simplification and homogenisation, every new healer they add to the game will also just be a reskinned WHM. Thats sad but thats totally the truth.

Scholar will still be the mandatory pick, while AST/WHM will fight over the last slot depending on who gets buffed the current cycle. So, no, not that much has changed.

But WHM at least has a niche now so I'm happy with that small improvement.
