I feel like a situational utility that can be used, but has a drawback for using it is good. Red mage is being double penalized for it though. They have reduced damage outright and then if they make use of Raise they run out of mana and their damage suffers even further.

So, I'd prefer seeing red mage damage increased with mana staying similar to now. That way if you're using Raise, your damage is lower because of it rather than your damage just always being lower because Raise exists.
