Last night, ALL Roulettes except Trials had "Healer In Need"!

Old post maybe, but still, just wanted to write : there is a difference between "adventurer in need" and what is really needed. Except 2 maybe 3 roulette, they proc instant, if not less than 30 sec as healer, even when any role in need is asked.

Don't missunderstand me, I don't tell ALL time healers are in need, but most of time, doing as heal is no waiting time what ever role is needed.

Because of 5.0 i moved from heal to tank waiting for the fix ... so i lvlup my paladin to 50 -> 80

And in fact tank is pretty cool, almost the same Q time than healer, easier to play than healer, less stress, a lot more button to push .... i still have a lvl 80 healer but now im a main tank.

I'm pretty sure that in addition to asking for a specific role, what it's really looking for is someone of the right role and the right level to participate in a particular duty.

If it's trying to assemble a party to do the Lv79 dungeon and needs a Lv79 tank, it says "tank in need". But a hundred people can join the tank queue with a character that doesn't meet that level requirement, and either get passed off to the next party in the queue or start to pile up. So then a healer queues for the roulette and gets instantly grouped with one of those "rejected" tanks.

On your server maybe?
On mine Healer is in need on Levelling mostly,otherwise its just tank and DPS[for alliance raids]
Roulettes do rotate between each of the 3 roles but its a fairly balanced rotation

Shadowbringers is the healer in-need expansion. Healers are also usually the last role to fill for extremes, and savage.

No 4th healer, simplification of the jobs, and maybe the neutering of Astro has something to do with it. Healer role has lost some luster, it's still enjoyable but not as much as it used to be.

That is not true in EU (Chaos DC).

I regularly see DPS In Need for Trial, Alliance Raid, Normal Raid and Guildhest Roulette.

Healer mains would have leveled their main healing job by now - if not all three.

I leveled all three healers two weeks in from release.

I thought I was a healer main but the moment I tried tanking, I just changed to PLD. It's much more satisfying and entertaining this exp.

I won't be healing again in duties.

Not for random players least.

That is not true in EU (Chaos DC).

Recently the hype of GNB have cool down. It is back to mostly tank in need now, Alliance remain DPS/heal in need.
