    Nvidia or AMD cards?

I have a Geforce GTX Titan X and after the lastest nvidia driver update, my FFXIV would crash without fail and throw a DX error 110000002. I tried using DX9, but it would cause my PC to hang instead of crashing to desktop.

I downgraded by drivers to an earlier release (430.86) and haven't crashed in like... 5 hours of playing, which was literally impossible on the newest driver (431.60).

    Maybe give that a shot.

I see, I'll keep my eye on the GPU temperature then. Maybe I'll re-apply thermal paste on my GPU and see if that fix something.
