that is because Square Enix DID change something. no other explanation is possible.

1.) dead zones are changed. this is evident by the game itself using the same setting(s) as it was before the release of shadowbringers and despite this, using the same exact controller profile the analog stick(s) had drift. if nothing had changed, then this wouldn't happen. if the external controller profile remained completely unchanged, but now there is drift on the stick(s)... the only explanation for that is the game itself had something changed. the controller isn't worn... i have tried ; re-installed Windows... re-installed the game... using the same exact Windows build and version... using the exact same drivers for bluetooth... delete all game settings stored locally. ( not explicitly in that order ) absolutely NOTHING has changed on my end to cause this. funny how 20+ other games experience no change in behavior. the only possible explanation is something changed in the game itself.

2.) diagonal control/movement on the right analog stick/camera is slower than horizontal and vertical movement. it wasn't like this before shadowbringers, ergo something in the game changed. i have tried at least a half-dozen other controllers all to end with the same result.

3.) it is now possible to spin your character mid-air by rotating the left analog stick. not that this is bad, but it certainly wasn't possible before the release of shadowbringers.

4.) target cycle seems completely broken. always the furthest away target(s) is prioritized before the closest. this was never an issue before shadowbringers. the target option in character configuration also seems completely broken. regardless of how it is set, target cycle behaves exactly the same. for what it is worth, i am actually not the only one to notice this... so, this may not be exclusive to gamepad.

if something was messed up on my end and is now fixed... well, if this is fixed then i sure as hell don't want to be broken... or do i? >_> now that would be a conundrum. :$
