i haven't played the last 2 months, not 2 years. but yeah...

i have 2 xbox one controllers about 8 months old each. and have about 20+ games on PC installed, and manage controller configurations for them all through STEAM. (all except for Skyforge and MEmu) each and every one of those games have retained their configurations over these 8 months. when installing Heavensward from disc STEAM shows my old configuration, but after updating to Shadowbringer it changes over. i spent almost all fricken day recovering the config from HW to import to SB, only for it to be useless.

even without using STEAM, the controller behaves differently then before SB. and now last night i even re-installed Windows to try to fix this. using all the same drivers and everything the same from before SB launched something still has changed with controller.

in the game there is a sensitivity setting in system config. all this setting does is adjust the dead zone. (the setting actually seems counter intuitive) at 0 it almost completely eliminated the dead zone, or at least it used to. before SB i could set it to 0 and the controller would fine. in fact, i could even apply anti-dead zone through STEAM and still not have drift. but now in SB setting it at 0, and without anti-dead zone, causes a drift. :$ :$ :$

no matter what i try there doesn't seem to be any fix. funny how controller works exactly the same for everything else on the PC and every other game. funny how the ONLY game for it to behave differently in is FFXIV. if Square Enix didn't change anything, then what? it just doesn't make sense. :$ :$ :$
