Unlocking hunting log after a job-level boost

Hello everyone. I recently boosted a character to 70 and story skipped to level 50, but i started leveling other classes from level 1 and i think i have encountered a bug wich i think comes with the job-level boost/story skip, but i am not sure. When i swap to lower level classes, the hunting log is greyed out and i cannot access them no matter what class i pick. I have done class quests up to lvl 30 on most classes and still the hunting log is greyed out, is there a special quest i am missing? Has anyone encountered this problem after a job boost and/or story skip?

From the looks of it, you seem to have boosted AST to 70 and, I'm assuming, abandoned whatever class you originally started as. The hunting log is normally unlocked after your level 10 class quest, which will also unlock the ability to take on other classes/jobs. You've bypassed the job limitations, but the log unlock requirement is still tied to, presumably, the level 10 class quest for the class you initially started the game with.

Just a hunch. Not 100%. Pretty sure this mostly only comes up when players boost an expansion job which doesn't have any hunting log, and therefore no reason or means to unlock it. Also going to assume that probably players that boost a base ARR job don't run into this issue, since the quest necessary for unlocking is flagged as complete.

Never tought about that, ironically the only class i have not started leveling is the class i started with, wich is still lvl 1. Will try leveling it and see what happens, thank you so much for the reply

Hasrat is correct, as I also ran into this with my hubby after he used a job boost. Just go back onto the job you originally chose at character creation, level it up through the job quests from your GM, and the hunting log will unlock.
