you still have 4 more or less phases so to speak.

1. Trance – where ruin3 still becomes instant and Tri-Disaster resets, usually u use your egi aussaults in this phase to generate ruin4 procs for the next phase ->
2. Bahamut – now Bahamut is kind of sleepy & lazy since he doesn't react to ogcd/weaving anymore (but his wyvernwave still triggers on gcd tho). so that's where your ruin4 procs (generated by egi assault) comes into play. (else ruin3 or ruin2 to weave akh morn). So compared to Sb we are less mobil and less strong with amount of hits - most probably cause of..
3. Firebird Trance - Now this is completely new and replaces buttons, but its not that complicated at all. Fountain of Fire will replace Ruin3 and Brand of Purgatory will replaces Deathflare. Since everything else would be dmg loss this phase is kinda easy to handle cause u just use FoF and BoP after each other, rins repeat - and don't forget to weave Revelations which replaces Akh Morn.
-> 4th and last phase is filling up your rota until your cds are back on track to continue with p1 again (Trance).

the replacement in general is kinda nice - only thing what people are wondering about is why Bahamut still has his own summon button, while Phoenix doesn't.
