Should there be a toggle allowing the cast of Rescue on someone?

Well here's my issue with your line of thinking. You're mad because a healer pulled your character out of something they shouldnt be in. Healer gets just as mad that they have to stop what they're doing because you died, in order to blow a gob of mp to raise your dead character from the one shot mechanic that they could have pulled you out of in a split second. Then blow cooldowns that could have been used elsewhere and pray nobody needs those CDs anytime soon because You couldnt be bothered to get out of the bad.

Healer gets just as mad that they have to stop what they're doing because you died, in order to blow a gob of mp to raise your dead character from the one shot mechanic that they could have pulled you out of in a split second.

Oh, far from it. I sadly get a lot of trolls on my roulettes. Bacent thinks it's minor, but it's a daily thing for me to deal with trolls using rescue. And I don't need a healer to pull me out of anything, I can see what a boss or mobs are doing and move on my own accord, I don't need some baby sitter telling me where to be.

If I die, I freaking die. Lesson learned. Pulling me out of something because a healer 'thinks' they are in the right, isn't right. Heck, 90% of these healers don't even know what Superbolide does, and how it has to be used properly. Oh no, you see me at 1 HP, yank me to safety like a goof ball... Thanks healer! You sure saved me... Now can you heal me instead? Would be much appreciated.

And it's not like MP is hard to manage. Do a little less pew pew for a bit and actual healing as you regen, no biggy. Quit using your lag leash on me, all I am asking. Your ping is far worse then mine most times and to top it off, they pull me into getting hurt more then they have ever helped or yank me into the group and boom, boss turns, cleave on everyone.

Just get rid of it, there's truly no valid reason anyone has posted of it's use. People have even admitted it's useless most times due to latency.

Okay *gigglefits* I will admit that I have used Superbolide on purpose just to see if a healers paying attention to whats going on rather than staying in lala land. But I can honestly say there's been several times where its meant the difference between a wipe or a win. I've not generally seen it used outside of such a way or even used it outside such a way but then again I'm either generally healing or tanking or if I'm really bored dpsing.

I have had Rescue used on me exactly twice, both times i had screwed up and rescue saved my ass. If it's a daily thing for you, the problem most probably is you that every day i healer feels the need to use it on you.

Uh, if I don't want to wear a seat belt I'm not forced to. Plus, a seat belt is something I apply, there is no 3rd party that applies the seat belt against my will. Sure, there are penalties if law enforcement notice, and more dire consequences if there is an accident involved.

Interesting. I've never had rescue used on me in DF parties. I've yet to see it being used by trolls in DF. Maybe i'm lucky. However my static uses it to troll me.

In fact my static healers have always told me not to use rescue on randoms even though i still use it pretty often. More often than not rescue feels slow and people still end up dying to the stuff im trying to save them from u_u

The issue with rescue is that it has pretty bad input lag that's highly affected by both your own ping and the ping of the player you rescue. For example I tried rescuing a friend in E4 during one of the 'smash' mechanics and had ample time to do it, but according to the game they were in the bad anyways in spite of clearly being out of it by the time they died. If they could fix the input lag it'd be a better skill - but as of now I only use it on super long casts where I know the lag won't play a factor. Tsukiyomi EX's meteors to help my co-healer if I see them not reacting fast enough, Amon's Curtain Call, to name a few. Anything faster than those though and you might as well not bother, unless you were fast enough to click rescue right as the cast bar started.

I'm WHM main and tbh I never use that skill. There is just too much salt involved with rescue so it's not even on my bar lol. If a person decides to stand in bad, well feel the consequences first hand and hope I can heal you up after.
