What is the most powerful moment of any FF title you've played?

FF 8 story was fail. "Hey guys now i remember playing with you guys 8 years ago and being happy and what not" Like really none of them could remember each other not one person? That was the dumbest shit ever. I still to this day don't even understand why Squall liked that chick, nothing clicked about them. He just decided out of the blue he loved her lol....

What part of "Extended use of GFs may have adverse effects in your memory, especially childhood memory" was not understandable enough? Because it is actually a pretty strong twist and not predictable at all. The GF-induced partial memory loss lore was there since the beginning, you honestly did not expect it to have any impact later on?

Sorry but, just because you did not understand the explanation or most probably did not accept it, it doesn't mean the story was fail or dumb shit or whatever. It just means YOU did not like it.

Going by your comment about them not being able to remember each other, it seems you really just chose to not accept the explanation given by the game. Fair enough, but it by no means makes the story suck^^

Hmm.. Well my favourite is probably at the very very end of FFXIII when you get the extra clips, like Zell choking on a hot dog and then losing his nut, and Squall's first smile and kissu!

The opening cutscene of FFX ... BLITZBALL!!!!

Other FFX moments were Tidus disappearing and Yuna ran to hug him and fell right through him ;_; awww and Yuna crying as she sent off the dead citizens with her dance . ;_; double awww

I'd have to say at the end of FFIV, seeing Kain take off his helmet atop Mount Ordeals and both intro movies for FFXI and FFXIV.

For FFXI, the scenes which choke me are seeing the Taru mages cast on top of the incoming hordes ( idk why, desperation maybe ?) and when Aldo finally makes it through the small rock hole and calls to his sister.... for me that was like " damn..."

As for FFXIV, it kind of just builds up for me when the Lalafell girl casts Protect? ( blue barrier thing ? ) on the hyur guy.
yeah ffxiv moment is kinda weird for me but it chokes me up.

Sooo many people don't realize this haha. Almost the same amount of people who never realized that Cloud thought he was Zack in FF7.

But anyway..I've played them all. Most memorable moment was when Aerith died...idr how young I was...but yeah it made me cry, never has a game done that before. The FFX thing almost did too...sad ; ;

FFI: Changing classes. Discovering that the spell Fast completely breaks the game. Getting that Nintendo Power guide in the mail. Best guide ever, and the only one I still own. Actually beating it. (Was a huge challenge for me since it was only my second rpg after Dragon Warrior 1)

FFIV: Going to the moon and discovering who Cecil's family is. Cecil's final words to his brother. The various suicide attempts. Various characters' dramatic returns from supposed death. ATB. Golbez. I guess I should just say FFIV in general.

FFVI: Opera Scene. Opening sequence. Magitek Factory. Getting your first magicite and realizing just how much customization was suddenly open to you. Figaro bros' + Locke's + Tera's + Cyan's side stories. Floating continent + World of Ruin. Kefka. I guess I should just say FFVI in general.

In IX on the cargo ship when Vivi defended the ship by throwing a Fire at Black Waltz 3, causing his ship to burn (after he did his lightning), explode and crash into the wall.

IX had beautiful cut scenes and is still my favorite FF.
