My favorite iteration of monk was the one towards the tail end of Stormblood where we were using our GL recovery tools coupled w/ tornado kick to optimize our damage output. I'd been wanting to have TK be a part of our optimization on the job and they finally did it. That on top of the other optimization for the job felt really fun to play; it felt like there was a legitimate skill cap there which rewarded good play. And I really like jobs that offer that.

With that said, I'm happy to see that some people are really enjoying the job and its changes for Shadowbringers. I haven't had it in me to level the job yet, but seeing how strong the job is, and that some people are still really enjoying it is encouraging at least.
