One thing though that I didn't see in the thread yet is, that Coincounter got 2 100ton ... moves. One is conal DMG, one is AoE. I didn't know that as well, until someone from the LS mentioned it to me. 100ton Swing is the AoE one, he charges up long enough to get away easily.
The other one is 100ton swipe, which is conal and only takes 2 sec~ to charge. If you run away in his line of sight from swipe, you will get hit no matter how fast your reaction is, if you run "through" him, or to his side, you won't get hit.
Need to pay attention to his actions more, or to his animation.
Swing=Is holding his club in front of him with both hands charging.
Swipe= Is holding his club with one above his head while charging.
Some ppl would rather use server lag as an excuse, yes it makes it a little harder for you to dodge, no it is not impossible to dodge both 100T moves if you learn to move correctly. The log is not quick enough for EU's you need to learn to watch his movement just like ifrit and his croutch. We have 1 player in our ls who is a main tank and from Germany with a TERRIBLE ping the worst i've seen nearly 400ms using the SE ping test with almost 20 hops and can dodge everything properly.

The problem is not that the servers are in Japan its that the servers are from the 18th century, we should (note I said should) not have this problem come 2.0, now you say the problem is NOT latency its the servers, but then you say moving the servers to America would solve the problem, but they would be the same 18th century servers with slightly lower latency, which according to you is not the problem, see the contradiction anywhere?Yea this is unfortunate, tbh though its not network latency that is causing this issue its the servers themselves.
300 ms isn't even half a second and thats plenty enough time to get out of the way.
I would really like to see SE have their Servers in America, at least it would be in the middle latency wise for EU players then, I'm not sure how realistic that would be though.
You are absolutely correct and i must admit i made a mistake.

It was after i made this thread that i realised when the log sais "100 ton" it can be either of two different moves like you say, and it turns out i was getting hit by the one handed "swipe" which has a much lower start up time and hence why i wasnt able to dodge it (allthough it can be dodged by running behind him as oppose to away from him)
exactly as you say.
so hopefully the devs at SE will accept my appologies :S

Well, get a WAR tank with 4900+ HP then you won't get one shot... I lived through 3x 4700 hit in a row.
Not ideal, but it works.

Hmm while i stand by my appology since i can dodge pretty consistantly now-
after veiwing this

i still have my reservations.

notice how he got hit by the swipe despite being clearly away ad behind him?Hmm while i stand by my appology since i can dodge pretty consistantly now-

same wwith the swing, he was farther than the rest of the pt but still died...
I really dont know which way to go with this- let me explain
i have alot of "if's"- i think If he wasnt in the middle of the phalanx animation at 0:26 and ran immediatly behind him at the swipe startup he wouldnt have been hit.
of course the flip side to this is that he was clearly out of range when he took damage.
and when he was killed if he ran away and not through he would have dodged also. but again he was clearly out of range when he took damage.
i think, its not perfect but it is possible to dodge if you make allowances regarding the apparent latency of the game.
i suppose the question is- is having to make these allowances something which should be expected of players?
