Customizable pronouns

Your deep misunderstandings about what constitutes a mental illness aside, I'm really not sure why asking for the ability to customize my pronouns in a video game is a political thing. It literally affects no one else's gameplay.

You've been told reasons why. I haven't seen a lot of answers to combat it. The code, the time it takes to reword everything, the cost of it, etc. Do the cons outweigh the pros? This isn't bigotry, it's standard development in regards to all QoL added into a game.
