The character we make in the game is, to some extent, a reflection of us. It's also clear that, even with the limitations we have in the character creator, the people in the world we play in have just as much variety in personalities, appearances, and identities as we do in the real world. Allowing for some variety in pronouns reinforces that.

The pixies using gender neutral language and being natural and unobtrusive about it is one of the best parts of that, really. The fact that you didn't notice the lack of gender in their speech is a win and it goes to show that this is really possible to do without disrupting anything in game for other players.

Inclusiveness is always worth the effort anywhere people are, whether that's identities, disabilities, playstyles, or personal beliefs.
