Right but you got to take into consideration something like idk for example text length. Let's say a user enters WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW as their pronouns now some text ingame will go outside of the dialog boxIt depends on how they have it already set up. It's clear they already have pronoun variables in dialogue, so it is a matter of how that is set now vs how it could be set for players to customize. There are ways to do that too - either through a text field that the players can edit, or selecting one of multiple options. Even just adding they/them as a selectable pronoun set would be amazing.
So they put a character limit on it, or as cinnamonoreo suggested just add a they/them option.
The harder work would be in localization of gender neutral pronoun options, but it's entirely doable.
