There's the go-to of the alphabet community. "reeeee hate! bigot! xyz-ist! zyx-phobic! reeee hate!" It's not hatred to want to leave real world socio-political BS out of a game. This is exactly the what I was referring to with my first post in this thread.Honestly, the things I'd love to say to people like you and the many others in this thread that spew hate but I'd fetch a ban for that right quick.
What I will say is you aren't clever, your intent is very clear. Hatred, hatred, hatred.
Spin it however way you like but if this is the conclusion you come to, and I've seen your kind many times before, it's all from hatred.
"I've seen your kind many times before"Are we playing the same game? Did you really just skip over every political moment in this game that is a parallel to the real world.
Heck they even have a small story element with the NPC "Koko" in the Azim Steppe regarding something very similar to what the OP is asking for.

You being bigoted? Cuz guess what. The language you are using is. Quite ironic.

Do you know what's interesting about this post, and which illustrates plenty of other more passive-aggressive ones too? That you have no idea of who I am (maybe because I don't go around waving any flags and generally disrupting other people's lives), yet here we are, assuming things and spewing hate. You might have suffered a lot on your life, or whatever, but that doesn't make you special. Plenty of people go through bad -and maybe worse- stuff and aren't constantly demanding things, attacking others or feeling ofended over everything. The only thing that you accomplish by doing this is to make people feel tired of you, which is not the way towards tolerance and respect (because you don't show it, to start with). Are we playing the same game? Did you really just skip over every political moment in this game that is a parallel to the real world.

This is why a lot of us don't want this socio-politic stuff in our games, or in entertainment in general. We have enough of that crap on our daily lives.
We, as of the rest of the playerbase (and some are part of other minorities, too), don't put our RL issues and problems on you. Why do some of you insist on doing it to us? Live and let live.
EDIT: Just in case, this reply is aimed at the people like the person which I quoted. My reply for this topic is still the other one.

They also roleplay as a tablecloth and as a doorstop, but that doesn't mean the developers have overhauled mechanics or systems for those uncommon cases to facilitate their roleplay. They do fine with the tools they already have.
Those uncommon cases require (SpongeBob) imaaaagination to pull off ingame, and that's OK. That's what rp is about, after all. All interface information is by definition out of character, so it frankly doesn't matter whether square lets someone make their pronoun whomstd've. It's up to your character to use it in character for it to exist in character, which is something square can't help you with.
Oh, and before you try to tell me cutscenes are in character -- no. That's someone else's story. If you're keen on roleplaying, tell your own story rather than try to convince me the exarch picked you specifically when he did the exact thing to me. And the other guy. And her over there, too.

To be honest all the checks are all ready in the game for when they call you by one of the sex. The voices cutscenes are already done for both HE and SHE variations. Switching between He or She should be an easy toggle. IT is already More or less (if X character = Male Then Text displayed = Y) and so on. So change the check to a setting the player can choose. In options => Default (Your characters actual Gender in game), Male, Female. Any options else besides that would take alot of rewritting and voice acting... so 100% would NOT be worth it at all.
But the whole bringing real life stuff into the game is sorta meh in my eyes. This is a fantasy game and a fantasy world. We are not in the real world. I would be alittle iffy about adding too much stuff like this cause it opens a can of worms.

Haha, good one.

The number of people who disagree with this topic concerns me
Well first of all, gender (and sexuality) shouldn't be a political debate since they just... exist... and making their identity as debate topic is rude
Second, cisgender shouldn't assume their opinions worth than actual non-binaries. We know what's the best for ourselves

Comments like this irritate the heck out of me. No, you don't get to throw out the 'No you're cis therefore your opinion is worth diddly poop because we know better.' No, it doesn't work that way. Stop and think for a moment. Remember that a lot of individuals who fall into this suffer from a myriad of mental illnesses such as depression, social anxiety, paranoia - the list goes on. No. No, you don't know better when you're in this state. Most of you don't have the faintest idea what's actually going on in your head or why you think this way, why you're sad, why your chemical balance is shot. Having the first-hand experience is good, and all but you do not know more than someone who actively studies or is a professional in regards to the topic - and you do not have any right to eliminate someone from the debate because they don't have it.
What your doing is the same as me going, 'you're white - therefore anything you say about the history of blacks is wrong' or going to a psychiatrist or a doctor and going ' I have depression, you don't have it. Therefore, you can't form an opinion regarding it or give me proper treatment.' Note, I'm black, and I suffer from depression. Not once have I thought something as idiotic as this.
People can form educated and logical opinions without having to experience it first hand. Most of us do in a lot of professions. Most of the STEM courses/professions do this, especially biology/medicine.
I guess anyone who hasn't been to space, had a certain disease/illness can't form/study or learn about these topics without first going through the NASA program or getting infected. Got to have that first-hand experience on their CV/resume. /s
When people say stuff like this which literally just amounts to CIS hate - you're not helping your cause. For example, any empathy I have for you just flew out the window as soon as you said it.

Ignoring the people slinging vitriol here for a moment, I'd be quite on board with this idea. Representation is good.
