SCH DPS optimization

I checked some logs and noticed that I have never really been above 85% on end-game content as a SCH and found the issue/difference with SCH in the 99%.

I think that is this "weaving" that I never really understood until now but what I noticed is that 99%SCH tend to only use skills like Sacred Soil or Lucid dream after Biolysis.

I have also seen some other oGCD skills after Ruin 2 (which I personally never really use outside of when I am moving). I probably also not use Swiftcast enough outside of raises.

My questions are:
- Do you always use Ruin II / Biolysis before an oGCD?
- In which context do you use Ruin II? (outside of times where you need to move)
- When do you use your first Chain Stratagem? Soon after your first Broil/Bio or do you wait a bit?
- When there are 2 enemies, do you use Broil 3 (280 for 400MP) or Art of War (300 for 600MP)?
- Is there a consensus already on a "rotation" for SCH when healing is not needed and where to place oGCD

I am also a bit confused with Seraph and Consolation. because the shield of the 2nd cast does not override the first one, when is the best to use them? Is it better to wait for the end of the counter and use it twice so the shield last longer when Seraph is out?

Any other optimization advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well I dont have the best equipment yet either but for now I want to focus on my rotation as it will take some time to change muscle memory

Apparently Broil III + OCD is very close to Ruin II + OCD, Ruin II is recommended when you're double weaving (although it's recommended to always double weave your OCDs anyways). This info is from the Balance Discord.

Your play might not even be the issue really.
First thing is you need a group that allows you to maximize doing DPS GCDs, as in they don't get hit by avoidable mechanics much. Second the other healer covers the bulk of healing where you might clip a GCD. Organized groups are preferred for top parses since you never know the quality of pugs.

In terms of "rotation", keep Biolysis up on as many targets as possible assuming they will live the full duration of the DoT. During that GCD you can weave oGCDs in for healing. Broil spam on single targets only if you don't have to move, Art of War is better when you can hit 2 or more assuming there is no MP issue. If you absolutely have to move use Ruin II if Biolysis isn't needed to be recast, this will also give you a oGCD window to weave. Don't forget about weaving in Chain Stratagem during the group DPS window.

Check the top Scholar on Innocence, he did low healing while the other carried the weight on that. Additionally, he was dance partnered and had a second scholar for another Chain Stratagem.
