Garlean Gunblade Job?

Well there are certain potential paths they can take with Garlean Gunblades already.....

1) The reverse Red Mage which focus on Melee as primary attacks and Range as their off-attacks.

2) Potentially the Physical Damage version of Red Mage but all instant cast attacks.

3) a Instance Cast Magic DPS Job that use Ceruleum to potentially empower the Garlean Gunblade to create Range attacks through their slash and Gun barrel causing Magic Damage due to Ceruleum's affinity to be a alternative to Magical energy. (PS Red Mage is not a Instant Cast Mage but a Double Cast Mage as it still need to cast normally first before it can cast a 2nd spell right after)

4) Maybe the first Magic Melee DPS Job using Ceruleum to empower all attacks for Magic Damage with some range projectile attacks as off-GCD attacks.

As for the Mechanic that involves the use of the Ceruleum in the Gunblade, that is something I am uncertain yet as that will certainly the the main focus that separates the Garlean Gunblade Job from the other Jobs the most.

I see your points, but in your own words, but be quite similar to a red mage. I'd be hoping for something far more unique, something that draws you in to want to try and play it since different. Hmmm... Well, I'm not going to fully dismiss such a job honestly. And nothing wrong with crossing fingers, and toes if skilled enough!
