I guess a better way to word it would be "the story isn't utter trash as is the case on other MMOs."

Nope as that's an entirely different argument and highly subjective. A lot of people in this community act as if other mmos have absolutely zero lore.

Other mmos just don't force their lore on you, which is something I personally like but eh.
