I'll have to check out Hyperion on an alt. If this is actually happening as described then yeah, it's a real problem, that should be addressed. And 'use world visit' is not an excuse.

That said, the way the OP is written really makes me think this is being highly exaggerated for attention.

And it looks like for every one of them, there's 20 trying to replace them right now.

So i made an alt on Hyperion and have been entering and exiting Central shroud for 20 minutes, the only hiccup i have had with loading is accepting the very 1st quest which could be down to me being an EU resident on NA server getting a hiccup as much as bots.

So few things i could gleam from this.
1. they got the botters
2. the botters have all stopped for now
3. This has all been overexaggeration

If this becomes a daily thing of zone crashing expect heavy action to be taken, if this has been a 1 off thing expect them to look into it to try and prevent it in the future, if this has been overexaggeration bravo you got me.

Wow, now that's something i haven't seen before. Yeah, Spriggan seems like a brand new Server so all the RMT bots are trying to level up just like everyone else lol. Try to do the quest on a old server on your Datacenter for the time being since all the RMT bots are already established there lol. So for now use the World Visit system.

SquareEnix has an impeccable record of doing Bi-weekly banwaves on RMT/Botters/Advertisers so you can be sure it will be fixed eventually soon.

This explains why the servers could be down in the NA servers!! Someone else was mentioning the crazy amount of bots in thanalan. Thank you for being vocal about your concerns. It is thanks to you that things get fixed and addressed. You saw the issue before it had any effect on the servers. Now they actually have to do something about those bots now.

I had this happen earlier on Spriggan but it wasn’t that zone it was Upper La Noscea and Western La Noscea. I tried zoning in a couple different ways and teleporting and it told me that the zone was full.. I’ve been playing since 1.0 and this is the first time I’ve had that happen it was kind of weird.

Yes. The game is not a fit state. It is not the advertised product.
Am I supposed to never visit an ARR zone, ever, is that the only solution to trying to play this game?
Anywhere I want to go, might have thousands of bots sitting in it, taking up all possible player spots, and the GM's literally are not allowed to do anything about it. Or so they claim, that one might just need to be fired for refusing to do the job.

A simple DB query to get everybody standing at that pixel, a quick sweep to get everybody clipped outside of the world, teleport them all out into the "naughty player room" and boom, problem solved.

Only, they cannot. Not allowed. Not anymore.

What kind of game intentionally prevents the problem from being solved?

It's a huge problem and it's only going to get worse. SE are absolutely terrible at dealing with bots

Being unable to enter the zone is not an exaggeration. It is literally the state of Central shroud on hyperion. Not being able to go to the zone, is indeed a game breaking bug. The bots have made it impossible to play there. Anybody who wants, apparently, can do that at any time. For as long as they like. The gm's can't stop you. The game won't stop you. You can cripple it for as long as you like. Until the next "ban wave" in a few weeks, you can apparently do anything you want, as long as instead of doing it one at a time, you do it with a few hundred of bots.

This is the current state of the game, right here, and right now. Until the bots want you to be able to enter central shroud on hyperion, you will not, unless you get lucky. In a few levels, it'll be somewhere else. Next week it might be outside limsalimnisa.

There is no reason for people to explode so hard just because some streamer is over-faking-outrage-for-those-views. This isn't a normal thing just like when the servers get DDoSed. There are lots of different groups out there attacking FF14 since it is exploding in success. Be patient.

Bots are a consistent complaint and a problem SE have never been able to get on top of. Being patient won't solve anything
