thankfully on balmung this issue doesnt appear to be a problem due to it being locked lol

According people on Balmung, there are still bots running gathering stuff that have been doing so for YEARS... so the whole ban WAVE is clearly missing clearly reported bots out in the open.

I wish that GMs had more power to perm ban bots on the spot.

It's likely there's a documentation process that has to occur before any ban regardless of how obvious it seems to us in game. Someone I used to play with and know IRL got banned shortly after he got reported for using a gathering/crafting bot (which he certainly was) and I'm wondering if the speed was there because the person who reported him could provide specific information.

I'd love to know what secret technique that person who reported him used because all DoL/H bots are stupid obvious but I can never get them banned no matter how many times I report them.

I'd be really annoyed if it turned out the only reason people aren't getting banned is because they're neglecting to specify what information would help them the most in determining whether someone is botting or not.

Thank you, I worked quite hard on making sure that you'd figure it out and laugh. I don't worry too much about being taken seriously, but if I can lighten up even one person's day, I honestly feel much better for it.
