Housing is supposed to be a gil sink so unless it costs 20m and up, never gonna happen.

I wonder...
In ESO you can also get a house and you can even buy them for actual money on the store (ESO does not have a mandatory sub fee so it leans heavily on the store).
They were that game's big money/gold sink but eventually Zenimax must have crunched numbers and found people were spending less on the houses themselves and more on furnishing these houses because they gave all NA users a free house of substantial size for a trivial achievement and then gave everyone a free house at the end of the Elsweyr MSQ. This whole "free house with no furnishings" system must be working for them.
Honestly, I furnished both a medium FC house and a small house. I think I spent equal to, if not more gil furnishing both those (I don't have crafters up) than the cost to purchase them. The gil sink excuse is honestly bs imo.I wonder...

Naturally the player bragging that they own nearly an entire ward in their signature would be opposed to this. If players get welfare homes, all those houses you are trying to rent or sell off might lose value.
I believe you have comprehension issues with English. Where have I exactly shown any opposition to the proposition? I stated that SE will not hand out a medium house to players for free. Besides, our houses are FC houses. Until personal houses get all the perks FC houses benefit from, aka never, none of these houses are gonna lose value.
Hear. Feel. Think.
Sure, but it's never gonna be free.

What you think doesn't matter in this topic due to your absolutely selfish abuse of the housing system.I believe you have comprehension issues with English. Where have I exactly shown any opposition to the proposition? I stated that SE will not hand out a medium house to players for free. Besides, our houses are FC houses. Until personal houses get all the perks FC houses benefit from, aka never, none of these houses are gonna lose value.

So care to expand upon your reasonings why it wouldn't happen as you say. Ishgard is canonically rebuilding, you can do a series of quests that would be your payment for the instanced house, said house could require materials be turned in so it's not "free" if it kills you that much. Then allow players their own personal space, let them upgrade it even.
Why is any of this out of the realm of possibility?

I said it would never happen for free when you can get the exact same thing for a fixed price. SE doesn't care about materials being taken out of the game. Gil on the other hand....So care to expand upon your reasonings why it wouldn't happen as you say.
