Crystal Plates

The other day I re-added time to the game and accidentally chose standard over entry. Noticed this after I could log into my alt. One I haven't actually logged into this alt since before StormBlood. And kinda felt bad since they were basically collecting dust.

Anyway it got me thinking cause this game ain't exactly Alt friendly. I kinda got a dumb idea about some kinda fantasia plate.

Basically how it would work is:
You buy a slot. And in that spot you create a new name (one that's available) and a new appearance.

This character is the exact same character as your main. Your basically just owning a second fantasia/name you can switch between. Say if you wanna be a Vierra for one day and a Hrothgar then next but don't wanna spend £20 to change your name every day. (Obviously there would be a limit to how !any times you can change in a day)

So in the character select (under the little gear icon) you will get the option of "change character" and it would list the current plates that character has. You still have to buy fantasias to edit the plates however. And a name change to edit the plates name.

Just a dumb idea that I thought might make the game alt friendlier. And might make servers less congested since the plates are just saved appearances/names rather than actual new characters.

Interesting idea, but I doubt that it would work with the actual programming.

Huh didn't really think about any of the problems with the idea being a technical issue..
