I don't see that as a bad thing really, these kinds of games are all about making friends and obviously you are more likely to play with your friends anyway.

The problem is that EU players are so spread out across so many servers its hard for us to get together in one place, which is what Ragnarok was supposed to be about, they wrongly labelled it as a FR/DE server to begin with and I think that put a lot of UK and Spanish players off.

But going back to the latency thing, if anyone has ever fought Heigan the Unclean in WoW/Naxxramas they would know this could never be done with 300ms.
