    He has openly admitted that he comes home miserable from his seemingly awful day job and that he only finds solace when he's on FF14.

    Perhaps looking down on minimum wage jobs (entirely the fault of corporate greed) is his way of coping with the minimal amount he earns each day (I would wager below $5.25 a day).
