Always wonder about that.
The zoom is too close.
We don't get to see a full platforms or full bosses.
I agree we need more zoom out.
Thank you.
I can see most bosses; is it possible your camera is too low because your character is shorter? There's a setting that changes that.
I have the same issue with my (still relatively short) Midlander. I often can't see the nametags on larger bosses to target them easily - as PS4, at least, has an issue with not 'seeing' things if their name is off the screen.
Famfrit in Ridorana Lighthouse was terrible with the Tsunami attack, because I can't easily see which way the ewer is pointing unless I tilt the camera up. It took me a while to even realise where to look.
I tried adjusting the camera height but it messed terribly with where I thought my character was standing for ground AoEs.
Being able to zoom out further so I can see the whole arena clearly would be great.
I'd like this too, there are a number of bosses or huge areas that I'd like to get a larger field of view via camera distance but cant because I've already maxed it out lol.
Yes please :3
The worst part is the setting already exists, so that devs can zoom out farther. We just aren't allowed to use it.
It does make sense to limit our field of view to an extent, for example, preventing us from seeing unmodeled portions of ARR zones. But it would be nice to be able to see an entire boss while fighting. On oversize enemies like the ShB final boss, one must choose between being able to see the floor and being able to see more than the lower 1/4 of the boss.
