Blue Mage & Dungeons question

Hello friends. I started a Blue Mage and realize that there are abilities I must learn from dungeons. I realize i can not use Duty Finder to get into dungeons. So do I need to meet up with 3 other players to make a party, then go into a dungeon? Or am I missing something? It just seems silly to have a solo class that requires parties and dungeons to learn all the abilities. So I am pretty sure I am missing something...

Some of these skills can be learned running the dungeon solo as a blue mage. For example, Mind Blast can be learned pretty easily in Tam Tara if you have 1000 Needles.

Other skills, especially the skills learned from primals, are typically leaned by running the instance with some blue mages and some people on other jobs basically carrying them so they can be learned.

Ultimately, you're not wrong. The method of learning so many of these skills is pretty disappointing, at max level their damage is pretty low, and the really low learn rate makes it even worse. I think some of them are as low as 2% learn rate. For me, I had to run Shiva over 50 times to learn her skill.

they have a tool called party finder, where you join or create parties with specific goals. Many skills you can solo even in dungeons if you have other good skills/level. some exist in leves as well as dungeons.

the primal ones, that are high level, you need people, and likely they will be carrying you, the rate is low, those specific skills acquisition is pretty bad.
