If you don't like that you should probably play a different Job, you might as well say "Dragoons shouldn't have Jump" or "Monk shouldn't punch", Samurais gimmick is that it builds up to a caster skill, why is this suddenly an issue when that's how the Job has been since launch?

2 things:

First our pDPS is BARELY higher than DRG, and most of the time it is actually equal due to delays caused by AoEs and movement interrupting our casts.

Secondly we had ONE casting ability in SB, we now have an additional that is used immediately after the first, which means we need 4-5 seconds of being able to stand still so we don't interrupt our cast and extend how long it will take before we can line everything up again. You know this, not sure why you think "knowing the fight" somehow addresses the issues a melee range caster faces in AoE and movement heavy fights.
